Giving a price for a web project is complicated. Every project is different and it’s not possible to provide a quote without knowing the details of a site; or how difficult it might be to other, seeming similar webpages.

Nonetheless, when I’m interested in a product or service as a client myself, I like to know what kind of price range I might be looking at, which is why, in addition to the fixed prices for plugins, I have this section with ball-park prices.

Layout of Sahalakabula.com
I was given all of the graphic design material needed to create this website. The only thing missing were some aspects of functionality needed to view the page on mobile phones and some details of subpages. This website is not particularly big and includes elements common to websites for restaurants.

For this website I also had to work on the images provided as they weren’t formatted to the size needed.

This project took 27 hours.

Design and programming of a personalised plugin for mybabylist.
This plugin enables users to add items that they see on Amazon or other online stores to a wish list. This was installed as a search engine button, which, when pressed, captures product information from the website where the product is being viewed and adds it to the corresponding user’s list, such that Mybabylist records the list of products seen on other pages.

This job involved significant programming work and took 53 hours to get everything up and running.

Optimisation of the Google Page Speed of https://www.recetassinlactosa.com/
I spent ten hours improving the speed of this blog without changing the webhosting, making sure that the client was happy.
Repair of the woodendot.com website:
This was a maintenance job to repair some problems that the website had following a virus. The page’s added CSS would be wiped out, the site was slow, and while the webpage had a plugin to detect and let visitors choose their language and currency, for some products currency exchange was done incorrectly and amounts were calculated incorrectly.

The client also decided to make some changes to and improvements to the page.

A total of 23 hours was spent on this project.

Modification of the recetasdecocina.elmundo.es header
This job consisted of changing the appearance and design of the website’s header, as well as the page’s functionality when scrolled and when viewed on mobile devices. This job involved modifying an existing template that was provided.

The layout of the header took five hours.

Creation of centromindfulnessmadrid.com

I did this project from scratch, creating the logo, email template, and templates for printed brochures. I spent a lot of time looking for the right typography for the project, as well as selecting the colours and web design. A WooCommerce store was also installed to enable payment of courses reserved.

We carried out several design tests for this webpage, which contains information about 16 different courses.

Time spent on this project was as follows:

Logo design for the website, emails, and printed material: 6 hours
Web style, colours, font types, etc.: 4 hours
Web development in accordance with the structure provided: 20 hours
Installation and configuration of the WooCommerce store with payment gateways: 6 hours

These prices are based on real projects I’ve recently completed and how much I’ve charged for them. If what you need is similar to to what you see here, I’ll be quoting you more or less the same.

I charge by the hour and when I give a quote I calculate how many hours I think I’ll take to complete your project. All prices are given in AUD and are calculated multiplying my hourly rate ($60) by estimated number of hours.
